Cloudflare has rolled out a new general availability (GA) release for the macOS Cloudflare One Client, version 2026.7.1343.0. This update moves several features from the beta channel into stable release, alongside a set of stability and usability fixes.
Browser-Based Reauthentication
The client now handles reauthentication more efficiently. If reauthentication is required, the system redirects the user to a browser instead of keeping them stuck in the app window, reducing friction.
HTTP/3 Fallback Logic
To improve connectivity on older or heavily filtered networks, the client now prioritizes HTTP/2 before attempting HTTP/3. This adaptive fallback order helps reduce connection delays.
Bug Fixes
The release addresses several stability and usability issues:
- Users can now log in to a different organization even if the device shows a “Device not in organization” error.
- DNS search domain parsing failures no longer block connections.
- The cloud icon now accurately reflects the actual connection status.
- A race condition causing missing certificate errors has been fixed.
- The client no longer crashes when connecting to a captive portal on Wi-Fi.
- An empty black window issue after switching display configurations has been resolved.
