What’s new in Radar Researcher?
Vendor claim: Cloudflare announced that the Radar Researcher beta now connects its answers to related Radar pages, reports, and Cloudflare Blog posts, providing richer source material for investigators.
Vendor claim: A new “Explain with AI” button on URL Scanner reports lets users ask the Researcher to clarify findings and pose follow‑up questions about a scanned site.
Vendor claim: Shared conversations have been redesigned to open in fullscreen, while the share URL stays active until the panel is closed or a new conversation begins.
Why the changes matter
Linking to authoritative Radar content helps analysts verify the provenance of data without leaving the chat interface. The AI‑driven explanations aim to reduce the time spent interpreting raw scanner output, especially for less‑technical stakeholders. The fullscreen shared session improves collaboration by giving more screen real estate for complex investigations.
Getting started
To explore the new features, open Radar Researcher from the Cloudflare dashboard. When you run a URL Scan, click the “Explain with AI” option to receive a natural‑language summary and ask follow‑up queries.
These enhancements are currently in beta, so feedback to Cloudflare is encouraged to shape future iterations.
